I love drawing people I meet when I'm out and about in London. I'm also a big fan of Japanese people: their looks, their kindness, the way they combine ancient and contemporary styles. I use to take loads of pics at the Japanese Matsuri festival (often blurry and confusing). I made a series of sketches from these, which I combined with origami papers or other Japanese materials I collect.
